An honest attempt to showcase the everyday of a differently abled girl, through the eyes of the camera. Being visually disabled since birth, ironically, this brave heart brought new light to the way we see the world. The documentary is just a glimpse in to her daily life. Kokan Kanya

  • Times Music Marathi in collaboration with Mitokondria Films has brought to its audience, an epic hymn of the pride of the Indian Railways – “The Konkan Kanya”. The song is composed and sung by “Padmashri” Award Winner – Smt. Padmaja Phenany Joglekar directed by Mr Sagar Pagar at Mitokondria Films. The music video endeavours to take us on a journey of the magnificent and vast Konkan Region of India through the Konkan Kanya Train. The 741 km long railway line connects Maharashtra, Goa & Karnataka states of India. The lyricist Smt. Shubhada Subhedar draws light on the most exotic and iconic elements of the region, impeccably displaying the true colors of Konkan.

  • It was a wonderful collaborating with Times Group & Times Music for the project “Konkan Kanya”. It is truly very dear to us as it is a marvel of the Indian Railways. The journey in the train is truly beautiful from the inside as well as the outside. The view of the Konkan Region is extremely pictorial and scenic and reflects a significant part of the exquisite culture of India. It was incredible travelling through Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Kudal, Kankavali and then embracing and capturing the beauty that the region has to offer. The opportunity of working with Padmajaji has been a remarkable experience. She is a phenomenal singer and a very humble lady. I am grateful for the appreciation the video has received.
